Summary Fair

Assessor Troy Lee Wibberley

Notes Item is structurally in good condition. Cracked paint across the entire exterior, as well as scuffs along the brim and the top crest, revealing bare material underneath. Large amount of discolouration on the back of the helmet as well as a large scuff on the right hand side. Fire Service badge is legible but yellowed/discoloured. Crest features a hole for the mounting of physical badges, no evidence of use. Interior is well worn, with only a basic leather lining and chinstrap. Interior leather is cracked towards the rear and bears several illegible marks. Partially legible stamp in neck cover reads "Glasgow" Two stamps in the interior read "May 1964" and "May 1968", these could be possible dates of inspection or entry into active service.
